Wow has it been only 10 days scince we got here in Germany? We've been so busy in processing I have lost track of time.
I just put up a couple of picture albums on the Kodak Galleries page. I'm not sure how well it will work in the long run so let me know how it is. The cool thing is that if you want hard copies of my photos you can order them straight from Kodak and they are pretty cheap. However, the file sizes are very small. If there are certain photos you would like let me know and I will get you better images. If you can't tell I'm very proud of Sushi and my photographic team work. I love changing cheesy snap shots into real art.
We signed paperwork for the cute house this week. We still haven't actualy seeeeeen it. :( Our appointment is on 3 May to inspect it and take over "ownership." I don't mind the wait so much as having to stay in this tiny ass motel room with little means of trasportation. But, they are redoing my floors so I guess I can't complain.
We finished our Headstart class yesterday by going to a town nearby called Regensburg. For such a small town it has alot of history. Of course my favorite thing was the gothic cathedral. It was saved from bombings in WWII by the head preist. He gave information to the Alied forces about Hitler's nearby airfield in exchange for protection of the city. Regensburg is trying to get him sainted for his deeds. Unfortunately we went through so fast we didn't get as many pictures as I wanted. We will definatley go back.
We also got to practice our German language by eating at a local resturant. MMMMMMMMM real Bratwurst and Kraut. *drooly*
Later tonight we will probly go to the German-American fest to eat some good food, drink some german beer and ride some crappy carnival rides....maybe not in that order.
Ooh, and todays culture shock picture.... 220 plugs.
